Yesterday in hotel Monarch in Dubai was held the ceremony of 16th World travel Awards,
Middle East editions.
Locations and businesses from Dubai won most of categories in Middle East and UAE groups ( 17 and 8 winners).
The great winner is the iconic symbol of Dubai – hotel Burj al’Arab who took over all three possible categories: Middle East’s Leading Hotel, UAE Leading Hotel and Dubai’s Leading Hotel .
Also Madinat Jumeirah scored in three categories as the whole complex in UAE and Dubai’s resorts , but only the part of Madinat, the hotel Al Quasr has been announced Middle East’s Leading Resort.
Among the other winners are Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, Jumeirah Emirates Towers and Dubai World Trade Centre.
Also the hotel Monarch got the award by itself – in the category Middle East’s Leading Suite.
Traditionally Dubai won in several other categories, such as the Middle East’s Leading Airport,Destination , Tourist Board or Marine.
